The creative force behind Cool Breeze is guitarist and song writer Glen Murray who
wrote seven of the nine tunes on Hale Awapuhi and was the recording's producer. He
is supported on this recording by a host of accomplished Hawaii jazz players. The
music has a strong personality with an easy accessible sound that is a wonderful synthesis
of straight jazz and island influences. Murray says his strongest influence is the
beauty of the Islands such as rainbows, emerald green mountains, waterfalls and sapphire
ocean-views, all of which he tries to capture in his music. Relaxing jazz that caresses
