The parking lot out front was turned into a beer garden to handle the overflow crowds. And on the stage, the 13 home grown Honolulu blues and
R and B bands and a bunch of great jam sessions rocked the house. Some of the bands
on this recording play weekly and have honed a sound of their own. Others never played together before this gig. The caliber of the music they all made is surprisingly good, and we captured it all live, just the way it came off
the stage. Living in these islands one would think there's little reason to sing the
blues, but give a listen...the blues is alive and well in paradise. And it's now alive and well on the airwaves. The Blues in Paradise is now playing on blues radio nationwide. Call and ask your local blues DJ to play a cut off the CD for you.
