Melodious Thunk's debut album features the unique musical blend of vocalist Bill Hunneke's harmonica and Kimberly Dewey's violin, supported by the crisp rhythm section of Jason Forester on bass and Dennis Escat on drums, and topped-off with the eclectic, gritty guitar work of Darryl Barilla. The record consists entirely of original compositions from the Hunneke/Barilla songwriting team. Bill Hunneke's lead singing is complemented by a background vocal trio consisting of Honolulu music scene veterans Elyce Tajima, Julie Winter and the Thunk's own Kimberly Dewey. The result is a rock and roll record that transcends categorization as a '60s, '70s, '80s or '90s album, truly timeless music for the mind and body. Melodious Thunk's live shows have been described as "pagan house party where the tribal vibe brings out a synergistic dragon that draws the audience into a psychedelic mosh pit."
